Vortex Studio 2017a Launch Webinar Discussion

Hi everyone,

The on-demand copy of our Vortex Studio 2017a launch webinar is now available on our YouTube channel. I've embedded it below, and attached a copy of the presentation to this post:

The presentation covered Vortex Studio's revamped user interface, as well as the new features available to scene designers - the vegetation fieldscreen-space ambiant occlusion and color-grading extension.

We also presented the new online Vortex Studio account, and explained how to download and install your free Vortex Studio Essentials copy.

If you have any feedback or question, please let us know by replying to this post!

Thank you! You'll find the new Editor interface to be quick and intuitive to use.

The Vortex SDK is included in Vortex Studio. Extensions developed with it should work just fine with the Essentials edition, provided they do not access objects not covered by the license (earthmoving extensions, for example).

I found the webinar interesting and am impressed with the changes to the editor.

There was no discussion regarding the use of the API libraries. Is the API included with Vortex Studio Essentials? If not, are extensions developed with the API compatible with the editor?
